Yesterday we hosted Oliver's 2nd Birthday party at the park
I chose Motorcycle theme because this boy LOVES them
and when he sees one he starts making revving noises, so it was only natural to go that route.
My husband has a Suzuki GSX-R and my brother has a Harley,
so I started there with the design. I searched through Pinterest and couldn't find any cute printables,
or really any thing relating to the party...everything was Harley centered
which was no fun for the Husband =(
So I started from scratch, used blue, red, and black and the color scheme and went from there.
All the props were borrowed from the Husband
(he even took the time to shine and polish up his equipment!)
The custom cake was done by Olivia of Olivia's Cakes
and the custom cookies by Angie of ARQ-Sweet Creations
We stayed up late unsuccessfully trying to dip some rice krispy treats and cake pops,
but the warm house and a failed candy melt recipe Did Not help us
Soooo plan B- mini cupcakes and sprinkle-covered rice krispy treats!
The signs and jar tags were done using a tattoo inspired font from dafont.com
We had a dress up station that included "tattoo sleeves", bandanas, and mustaches
even the adults got in on that fun
and of course the other stars at the events (besides the Birthday boy ;))
